I’m going to be honest. This boy in my life makes the chaos more calm. He destresses me. I laugh more heartily, I’m more at ease, I find myself more “myself” when he’s around. He brings out the best in me. Call it love. Call it obsession. Call it friendship. Whatever you call it, I’m thankful every single day that I stumbled upon him last January on the Civil Rights Pilgrimage and that we both took the leap to become friends.
So thankful.
